1. A dual spline gear assembly, comprising:
a toothed ring gear made of a metallic material and having a plurality of evenly spaced outer gear teeth located on an outer circumference, the toothed ring gear having an inner ring configured with a plurality of evenly spaced inner gear teeth alternating with a plurality of inner gear grooves;
a radially extending rib centrally located within the inner ring of the toothed ring gear between each inner gear tooth;
a first spline gear configured with an outer circumference comprising a plurality of evenly spaced outer spline teeth alternating with a plurality of outer spline grooves, wherein the outer spline teeth are configured to fit in the inner gear grooves of the toothed ring gear and abut the radially extending rib when the first spline gear is assembled to a first side of the toothed ring gear, wherein the first spline gear is further configured with an inner ring comprising a plurality of evenly spaced inner spline teeth alternating with a plurality of inner spline grooves; and
a second spline gear configured with an outer circumference comprising a plurality of evenly spaced outer spline teeth alternating with a plurality of outer spline grooves, wherein the outer spline teeth of the second spline gear are configured to fit in the inner gear grooves of the toothed ring gear and abut the radially extending rib when the second spline gear is assembled to a second side of the toothed ring gear, wherein the first spline gear is further configured with an inner ring comprising a plurality of evenly spaced inner spline teeth alternating with a plurality of inner spline grooves;
wherein the outer spline teeth of the second spline gear are recessed from a plane defined by a front face of the second spline gear to form a circumferentially continuous surface corresponding with the diameter of the second spline gear at the surface of the grooves wherein the circumferentially continuous surface abuts or rests on the radially extending rib;
wherein the first spline gear and the second spline gear are made of one of a thermoplastic material and a powder metal material.
