1. A method of degrading fumonisin, the method comprising contacting the fumonisin with a degrading enzyme FumDPS, wherein said fumonisin degrading enzyme FumDPS comprises the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 or SEQ ID NO: 2.
