1. A peptide ligand comprising a polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence

Ci-X6-X7-X8-Cii-X9-X10-X11-X12-X13-X14-X15-X16-X17-Ciii;
or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof,
and a molecular scaffold covalently bound to the polypeptide at amino acids Ci, Cii, and Ciii;
wherein each of Ci, Cii and Ciii is independently cysteine or an amino acid isosteric and isoelectronic with cysteine;
X6 represents Pro;
X7 represents 1-naphthylalanine (1-Nal);
X8 represents D-Asp;
X9 represents Met;
X10 represents homoarginine (HArg);
X11 represents Asp;
X12 represents Trp;
X13 represents Ser;
X14 represents Thr;
X15 represents Pro;
X16 represents hydroxyproline (HyP); and
X17 represents Trp.
