1. A method performed by a computer device, the method comprising:
determining an amount of energy in a transport that is available to be provided to a battery that powers a device at a location, wherein the battery is external to the transport;
receiving an indication of an intended use of the amount of energy from the battery, wherein the indication comprises a type and a function of the device;
instructing the transport on how to transfer the amount of energy from the transport to the battery based on the indication.
