1. A shaving head comprising a frame and one or more cutting members arranged between a leading longitudinal side and a trailing longitudinal side of the frame, wherein the one or more cutting members are movable in a direction orthogonal to a shaving plane, wherein each of the one or more cutting members extend between a cutting end closest to the shaving plane and a base end farthest from the shaving plane, wherein the one or more cutting members includes a first cutting member and other cutting members, and wherein the first cutting member is closer to the leading longitudinal side than any of the other cutting members;
wherein the shaving head further comprises a cantilever extending directly from the frame, wherein the cantilever consists of one cantilever configured to exert force on each of the one or more cutting members, wherein the cantilever is configured to retract at least one of the one or more cutting members such that the base end of at least the first cutting member moves away from the shaving plane in response to a pressure exerted on the cantilever, wherein the cantilever extends directly from the frame at a position closer to the trailing longitudinal side than any of the one or more cutting members towards the leading longitudinal side such that the cantilever extends past each of the one or more cutting members, wherein the cantilever terminates closer to the leading longitudinal side than the first cutting member, and wherein the cantilever terminates closer to the base end of the first cutting member than the cutting end of the first cutting member.
