18. A flying disc, comprising:
a central flight plate having top and bottom surfaces; and
an outer rim surrounding the flight plate and defined by a circular outer perimeter of the disc and an inner rim surface connected to the bottom surface of the flight plate, wherein:
the outer rim defines a cavity beneath the bottom surface of the flight plate;
the flight plate and the outer rim form a continuous top surface of the flying disc from a center of the flight plate to the outer perimeter;
no portion of the disc extends outside of the circular outer perimeter; and
the outer rim includes:
two or more grip sectors that include an inner rim grip wall that is perpendicular to a plane defined by a perimeter of the central flight plate, wherein the inner rim grip wall is concave and curves in the same direction as a corresponding sector of the circular outer perimeter; and
two or more non-grip sectors that include an inner rim non-grip surface that is positioned within the cavity and is shaped differently than the inner rim grip wall of the grip sectors, wherein the inner rim non-grip surface angles or curves down and away from a meeting of the non-grip surface to the flight plate.
