a striking face coupled between the heel and the toe, and having a front surface configured to strike a golf ball, and a rear surface opposite to the front surface;
a sole extending rearward from the striking face;
a crown extending rearward from the striking face and joined to the sole along a skirt of the golf club head;
a cavity at least partially enclosed by the striking face, the sole, and the crown;
a hosel disposed at the heel and comprising:
an external upper hosel portion that protrudes outwardly from the golf club head and has a first opening shaped and sized to receive at least part of a golf club shaft into the cavity, and
an internal lower hosel portion that protrudes into the cavity and has a second opening that is aligned with the first opening and shaped and sized to receive at least part of the golf club shaft;
a support arm extending at least partially through the cavity from the internal lower hosel portion, and spaced apart from the striking face, wherein a longitudinal axis of the support arm extends from the internal lower hosel portion towards the toe; and
a damping element positioned between the support arm and the rear surface of the striking face.
