1. An implantable device comprising:
a cuff electrode at least partially self-wrappable about a nerve, the cuff electrode including:
a flexible printed electronic assembly including:
a first printed signal conductive element printed onto a first side of a base layer,
a first printed insulator layer printed over the first printed signal conductive element opposite the first side of the base layer,
a second printed signal conductive element printed onto a second side of the base insulator such that the base layer is interposed between the first and second printed signal conductive elements,
a printed conductive shield at least partially surrounding at least one of the first and second printed conductive elements; and
a first contact electrode electrically coupled to the first printed signal conductive element.
