1. A weighted blanket, comprising:
a single layer only, formed of a continuous strand tubular yarn in substantially equally sized, enmeshed loops, the continuous strand tubular yarn interlooped to form a pattern of regularly spaced openings to permit air flow through the weighted blanket, the weighted blanket having a substantially even weight distribution,
wherein the continuous strand tubular yarn comprises:
an outer tube formed of a fabric, the outer tube defining a conduit extending longitudinally through an entire length of the outer tube, and
a filling within the conduit of the outer tube, the filling comprising a plurality of inner fiber layers, each inner fiber layer extending longitudinally through the entire length of the outer tube,
wherein the weighted blanket comprises:
a length between 50 and 80 inches, inclusive, and
a width between about 35 and 70 inches, inclusive; and
wherein the substantially even weight distribution in a range of between 0.3 pounds per square foot and 1.5 pounds per square foot, inclusive.
