1. A method for delivering a plurality of anchor assemblies, comprising:
removing an insert from a handle assembly;
inserting a cartridge into the handle assembly, the handle assembly comprising an actuator and a drive mechanism comprising a spring mechanism having a first loaded configuration characterized by a total stored energy and an unloaded configuration, wherein removing in the insert loads the spring mechanism with the total stored energy,
wherein the cartridge comprises at least one anchor assembly and a penetrating member and wherein the at least one anchor assembly and the penetrating member are configured to advance from a distal portion of the cartridge;
positioning the distal portion of the cartridge at an interventional site adjacent a prostate;
operating the actuator with a first actuation to cycle the drive mechanism from the loaded configuration to the unloaded configuration;
operating the actuator with a second actuation to cycle the drive mechanism from the unloaded configuration to a second loaded configuration characterized by the total stored energy, wherein:
operating the actuator with the first actuation simultaneously delivers a needle and at least a portion of the at least one anchor assembly to the prostate by transferring load from the drive mechanism to the cartridge, and
operating the actuator with the second actuation delivers at least a second portion of the at least one anchor assembly to the prostate by transferring load from the drive mechanism to the cartridge; and
removing the cartridge.
