1. A face shield fit adjustment system, comprising:
a frame configured to attach to a helmet, the frame comprising a channel;
a face shield slider having integral teeth, the face shield slider configured to attach to a face shield and to translate within the channel of the frame while the face shield fit adjustment system is in an as-worn position between:
a first secured position such that the face shield is at a first distance from an eye of a wearer when attached to the face shield fit adjustment system in the as-worn position, and
a second secured position such that the face shield is at a second distance from the eye of the wearer when attached to the face shield fit adjustment system in the as-worn position, the first distance being less than the second distance;
a release configured to disengage the face shield slider to translate the face shield slider between the first secured position and the second secured position; and
the frame further comprising a frame member having teeth configured to selectively engage the integral teeth of the face shield slider in the first secured position and the second secured position.
