1. An apparatus for roasting coffee beans, the apparatus comprising:
a chamber in which coffee beans can be received for roasting, wherein the chamber comprises an opening,
a device comprising a heater to heat air and a fan to transport the heated air into the chamber to roast the coffee beans received in the chamber,
a housing partially surrounding the chamber, and
a mating part for covering and engaging with the opening in the roasting position in order to close and seal the chamber for roasting the coffee beans such that the heated air flows out of the chamber through the mating part;
wherein the chamber is movable with respect to a movement axis into different positions, wherein these positions comprise a roasting position, a bean discharge position, and a bean reception position, wherein
in the roasting position the device is arranged to roast the coffee beans received in the chamber,
in the bean discharge position the chamber is arranged such that the coffee beans can be discharged via the opening from the chamber, and
in the bean reception position the chamber is arranged to receive, via the opening, coffee beans for subsequent roasting in the roasting position, wherein in the bean reception position the chamber is tilted at an angle between the roasting position and the bean discharge position.
