1. A computer-implementable method for performing a data center management and monitoring operation, comprising:
receiving utilization information from a plurality of data center assets within a data center;
assigning a load index to each of the plurality of data center assets based upon the utilization information, the load index for each of the plurality of data center assets taking into account a plurality of components of each respective data center asset of the plurality of data center assets, the load index for each of the plurality of data center assets being generated via a load index calculation operation, the load index calculation operation using a pretrained machine learning model, the load index for each of the plurality of data center assets representing a utilization of a corresponding data center asset, the utilization including a highly utilized system representation and a lightly utilized system representation;
training a machine learning model to generate a predicted load index for each of the plurality of data center assets, the machine learning model gathering performance data of the plurality of components of each respective data center asset; and,
presenting the predicted load index for each of the plurality of data center assets to a user.
