1. A method for resolving entities between databases, comprising:
extracting, via a network interface, instances stored in a first database and a second database;
resolving an entity between the first database and the second database, wherein the entity is resolved such that respective instances of the entity in the first database and the second database are determined as each uniquely identifying the same entity, wherein resolving the entity further comprises automatically applying resolution rules requiring at least matching a plurality of features between respective instances of the entity, and the resolution rules are selected based on a type of the entity and collectively define requirements for uniquely identifying the entity in the first and second databases; and
joining the first database and the second database when the entity has been resolved between the first database and the second database, wherein joining the first database and the second database further comprises creating a joint database based on the first database and the second database by:
performing a join operation between the first and second databases, and
storing, via the network interface, a table mapping the respective instances identifying the same entity to each other.
