1. An integrated circuit (IC) device comprising:
a first IC chip comprising first interface circuitry and first application circuitry;
a second IC chip comprising second interface circuitry and second application circuitry; and
chip-to-chip interface connected between the first interface circuitry of the first IC chip and the second interface circuitry of the second IC chip, the chip-to-chip interface configured to communicate an interface clock signal and a logic clock signal between the first IC chip and the second IC chip, wherein a frequency of the interface clock signal is a multiple of a frequency of the logic clock signal, and wherein the first interface circuitry and the second interface circuitry are configured to function based on the interface clock signal and the first application circuitry and the second application circuitry are configured to function based on the logic clock signal.
