1. An information processing system, comprising:
a first information processing apparatus that includes a first central processing apparatus (CPU), wherein the first CPU is configured to estimate a self-position of a first mobile device; and
a second information processing apparatus that includes a second central processing apparatus (CPU), wherein
the second CPU is configured to estimate a self-position of a second mobile device,
the first CPU of the first information processing apparatus is further configured to:
control, based on observation target information, movement of the first mobile device to a position where the second mobile device is able to observe the first mobile device, wherein the observation target information indicates a probability of the first mobile device being observable from the second mobile device;
control acquisition of correction information that specifies relative positions of the first mobile device and the second mobile device from the second mobile device that has observed the first mobile device; and
control correction of the self-position of the first mobile device based on the correction information, and
the second CPU of the second information processing apparatus is further configured to:
execute control to observe the first mobile device around the second mobile device; and
provide the correction information that specifies the relative positions of the observed first mobile device and the second mobile device to the first information processing apparatus of the first mobile device.
