1. An imaging optical system comprising:
a plurality of optical systems each including a plurality of optical elements;
a first reflector, disposed for each one of the optical systems, to reflect light when the light passing through the plurality of optical elements;
a variable aperture having an opening disposed at an image sensor side when viewed from the first reflector, the variable aperture to change a size of the opening through which the light reflected from the first reflector passes through, and at least a part of the variable aperture is disposed at a position overlapping with an area corresponding to a first lens, disposed at the most object side in the plurality of optical elements, along an optical axis direction; and
a second reflector disposed at a position in an exit side direction of the first reflector, the second reflector to reflect the light reflected by the first reflector, wherein the variable aperture is disposed between the first reflector and the second reflector.
