1. A military vehicle comprising:
a passenger capsule including a floor and sidewalls;
a door mounted to the passenger capsule; and
a battery armor assembly coupled to an exterior of the passenger capsule or an exterior of the door, wherein the battery armor assembly includes a battery unit having a battery that is removably coupled to the exterior of the passenger capsule or the exterior of the door, and wherein the battery armor assembly includes a first battery unit arranged at a first location on the passenger capsule or the door and a second battery unit arranged a second location on the passenger capsule or the door, and wherein a protection level provided by the first battery unit is different than a protection level provided by the second battery unit.
