2. A method for producing a cyclic imide compound, comprising
reacting a compound represented by formula (8) below with amine compounds to obtain a compound represented by formula (9) below,

wherein in the formula (8), R11 to R14 each independently represent an aliphatic hydrocarbon group, an aryl group, or a heteroaryl group, and one of R11 and R14 represents an aliphatic hydrocarbon group and the other represents an aryl group or a heteroaryl group, and one of R12 and R13 represents an aliphatic hydrocarbon group and the other represents an aryl group or a heteroaryl group,
in the formulae (8) and (9), R81 to R86 each independently represent a hydrogen atom,
in the formula (9), R31 represents an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an aryl group, or a heteroaryl group, and,
in the formula (9), R51 represents an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an aryl group, or a heteroaryl group.
