1. An overlay comprising paper impregnated with a resin composition, wherein said resin composition comprises:
a thermoplastic acrylic resin having a glass transition temperature in a range of from about −20 ° C. to about 40 ° C.,
wherein the acrylic resin content in the overlay is in a range of from about 15 wt. % to about 35 wt. % based on the weight of the overlay,
wherein the overlay is affixed to a substrate selected from the group consisting of a gypsum board, a wall board, and a panel, and
wherein the overlay is free of formaldehyde.
