1. A container comprising:
a durable housing in which a bulk supply of medication is stored;
a first illuminant arranged beneath a first aperture having a first shape that is formed in the durable housing;
a second illuminant arranged beneath a second aperture having a second shape different than the first shape that is formed in the durable housing;
a third illuminant arranged beneath a third aperture having a third shape different than the first and second shapes that is formed in the durable housing; and
a processor configured to—
examine a dosing schedule associated with the medication,
in response to a determination that a dose of the medication is due to be administered,
cause light to be emitted through the first aperture by the first illuminant,
in response to a determination that the dose of the medication is not due to be administered,
cause light to be emitted through the second aperture by the second illuminant, and
in response to a determination that the dose of the medication was administered within a given preceding amount of time,
cause light to be emitted through the third aperture by the third illuminant.
