1. A surgical tool for inserting or removing a surgical implant, comprising:
a handle comprising a handle distal end and a handle proximal end; and
a shaft coupled to the handle, the shaft comprising:
a shaft proximal end for coupling the shaft to a surgical instrument; and
a shaft distal end extending from the handle distal end, the shaft distal end comprising:
a first bore along a longitudinal axis, comprising:
a proximal region having an internal threaded wall configured to receive a threaded shaft of the surgical implant, the proximal region defining a first diameter;
a distal region; and
an intermediate region between the proximal region and the distal region, the intermediate region defining a second diameter, at least two curved tabs disposed in the distal region, each of the at least two curved tabs extending radially into the first bore and having a blunt distal end,
wherein each of the least two curved tabs is configured to engage a collar at a proximal face of the surgical implant.
