1. A release assembly for selectively interconnecting an end effector and a shaft assembly of a surgical instrument, the release assembly comprising:
a lever including a first arm, a second arm, a first pin extending from the first arm, and a second pin extending from the second arm, the first pin defining a rotational axis transverse to a longitudinal axis of the shaft assembly, a portion of the lever being rotatable about the rotational axis.
