1. A method for evacuating particulates from a surgical site, the method comprising:
initiating a particulate evacuation module communicatively connected to a surgical hub, wherein the surgical hub comprises a processor and a surgical hub enclosure configured to receive a plurality of modules and communicatively couple each module to the processor, and wherein the plurality of modules comprises the particulate evacuation module;
removing a particulate from the surgical site and receiving the particulate into the particulate evacuation module;
analyzing the removed particulate received into the particulate evacuation module, wherein analyzing comprises:
detecting a first parameter of the particulate by a first sensor,
detecting a second parameter of the particulate by a second sensor,
sending the first parameter and the second parameter to a remote server,
generating a first processed parameter from the first parameter and a second processed parameter from the second parameter, wherein the first processed parameter is different from the first parameter, and wherein the second processed parameter is different from the second parameter,
determining an output based on the first processed parameter and the second processed parameter,
comparing the output to a threshold, and
receiving, by the processor of the surgical hub, the the comparison from the remote server;
receiving, by the processor of the surgical hub, input signals from the plurality of modules; and
modifying, by the processor of the surgical hub, an operation of the particulate evacuation module based on, at least, the input signals from the plurality of modules and the comparison by the remote server.
