1. A method for use in a coordinating access point (CAP), the method comprising:
receiving, from one or more member access points (APs) in a multi-AP set (MAPS) comprising a plurality of member APs, one or more indications that the one or more member APs are capable of multi-AP sounding during a transmission opportunity (TXOP) acquired by the CAP;
transmitting, to the one or more member APs in the MAPS, a CAP TXOP indication (CTI) frame indicating that the multi-AP sounding is to be performed during the TXOP acquired by the CAP;
receiving, from the one or more member APs, a CAP TXOP request (CTR) frame indicating that the one or more member APs of the MAPS will perform the multi-AP sounding during the TXOP acquired by the CAP; and
transmitting, to the one or more member APs, a CAP TXOP AP schedule (CTAS) frame indicating a transmission schedule for one or more sounding frames to be transmitted by the one or more member APs during the TXOP for the multi-AP sounding.
