1. An image forming apparatus comprising:
a processor configured to:
acquire group information about a group to which a user who has issued an instruction for performing a process belongs, the process being at least one of printing an image, copying the image, scanning the image, and faxing the image;
acquire setting information indicating whether image information indicating content of the image and history information about the process need to be recorded in association with each other, the setting information being associated with the group identified based on the acquired group information;
record the image information and the history information in association with each other after performing the process instructed by the user in a case where the acquired setting information indicates that the image information and the history information need to be recorded in association with each other; and
not to record the image information and the history information in association with each other in a case where the acquired setting information does not indicate that the image information and the history information need to be recorded in association with each other.
