1. A method, comprising:
detecting a call from a first device of a customer registered with a unified communications as a service (UCaaS) software platform, wherein a location of the first device is determined using the UCaaS software platform;
determining that the call is an emergency call;
identifying an emergency event corresponding to the emergency call; and
triggering an automated alert to notify other devices of the customer registered with the UCaaS software platform of the emergency event.
