1. An acoustic tile comprising:
a single piece of material folded along a plurality of folding scores to form a three-dimensional configuration, the three-dimensional configuration comprising a plurality of folded extensions and a plurality of outer surfaces arranged in a non-coplanar and non-orthogonal orientation relative to one another to collectively form a faceted dome; and
a locking piece holding the single piece of material in the three-dimensional configuration;
wherein inner surfaces of the folded extensions at least partially define at least one air gap having an enclosed internal volume within the three-dimensional configuration
wherein the locking piece interacts with each of the of the folded extensions to hold the single piece of material in the three-dimensional configuration.
