1. An electronic device comprising:
a processor configured to provide input image data; and
a display device configured to receive the input image data from the processor, and to display an image based on the input image data, the display device comprising:
a display panel including a plurality of pixels, each of the plurality of pixels including a first color sub-pixel, a second color sub-pixel and a third color sub-pixel; and
a panel driver configured to drive the display panel based on input image data, the panel driver further configured to:
store a gamma curve characteristic to which a color crosstalk offset of the display panel is applied;
detect mixed color pixels among the plurality of pixels by analyzing the input image data;
determine a compensation coefficient for each of the mixed color pixels based on the input image data for each of the mixed color pixels; and
compensate a luminance of each of the mixed color pixels based on the color crosstalk offset and the compensation coefficient,
wherein color crosstalk values of the display panel are calculated at respective gray levels, and the color crosstalk offset corresponds to a difference between a reference color crosstalk value and an average of the color crosstalk values.
