1. A computer-implemented method for assortment planning using one or more smart attributes by a computer, comprising:
receiving one or more product images to identify one or more product features;
based on the identified one or more product features, suggesting a product template with attributes and attribute values corresponding to the identified one or more product features;
generating one or more new products for a product class using the suggested product template comprising a graphical representation of a product using one or more smart product attribute values;
generating a user interface comprising a virtual canvas rendering a product model, wherein attribute values of the product model correspond to product features of a modeled product, and wherein the one or more smart product attribute values correspond to one or more smart attribute markers comprising one or more user-selectable interactive elements on the user interface;
receiving a selection to modify at least one of the one or more smart attributes by selecting at least one smart attribute marker on the user interface, wherein the at least one smart attribute marker comprises an interactive element located in association with a boundary of the product;
displaying a graphic representation of the product model that represents the attribute values of the product model; and
causing items to be transported to restock an inventory of one or more items according to a current state of items in a supply chain network and one or more new products.
