1. A computer-implemented method performed by a cloud computing service provider system, comprising:
receiving a set of incident logs corresponding to a selected segment of resources of a total set of resources associated with a cloud computing service, each incident log in the set of incident logs including impact data corresponding to a respective incident that occurred during an evaluation period, the impact data including an interruption count representative of a number of interruptions that have occurred on the selected segment of resources;
determining a total active resource time representative of resource activity associated with the selected segment of resources during the evaluation period;
determining an interruption rate for the evaluation period by:
generating a total interruption count by summing interruption counts included in the impact data of each incident log in the set of incident logs, and
dividing the total interruption count by the total active resource time;
generating an actionable insight applicable to the cloud computing service based on the interruption rate;
comparing the interruption rate with another interruption rate that corresponds to a segment of resources of the total set of resources different from the selected segment of resources;
prioritizing an area within the selected segment of resources for at least one corrective action based on the comparing and the actionable insight; and
automatically implementing the at least one corrective action, wherein the at least one corrective action comprises at least one of repairing the selected segment of resources, re-establishing baseline provisions for the selected segment of resources, or releasing a software update to the selected segment of resources.
