1. A method of generating a virtual reality (VR) experience comprising:
receiving an input identifying a physical procedure, wherein the physical procedure comprises a plurality of procedural actions, wherein each procedural action of the plurality of procedural actions is associated with an anticipated patient response to a perception of one or more of actual or potential pain, anxiety, and presence;
for each procedural action of the plurality of procedural actions:
determining a modified patient response based on the anticipated patient response; and
selecting a VR experience segment configured to reframe the procedural action based on the modified patient response; and
compiling the selected VR experience segments, via a processor, to generate the VR experience.
