1. A method for transferring a speech signal of a patient during a magnetic resonance imaging examination, comprising:
recording the speech signal via a speech recording device of a wireless communication device;
generating a modulated signal based upon a modulation of the speech signal onto a reduced amplitude carrier signal, the reduced amplitude carrier signal having a reduced amplitude as a result of reducing, by a reduction factor, an amplitude of a carrier signal used for transmission in accordance with a communication protocol; and
transmitting a communication signal to a receiver of the magnetic resonance imaging device during a receiving phase of the magnetic resonance imaging device such that the receiver receives magnetic resonance signals corresponding to an imaging sequence of the magnetic resonance imaging device concurrently with receiving the communication signal,
wherein the communication signal comprises (i) the modulated signal, or (ii) a processed signal that is generated by processing the modulated signal.
