               1. A fire pit system, comprising: 
            a fire pit stand including a stand wall having one or more stand openings; and 
                a fire pit body adapted to sit atop the fire pit stand, the fire pit body defining a body top end portion and a body bottom end portion, the fire pit body comprising: 
                an interior body wall positioned inside and spaced apart from an exterior body wall to permit an upward flow of air therebetween; 
                  the exterior body wall, which defines a tubular shape extending around the interior body wall, from the body bottom end portion to the body top end portion, so as to circumferentially enclose the interior body wall; 
                  one or more inwardly-facing body openings positioned at the body top end portion to permit a flow of air from between the interior body wall and the exterior body wall; and 
                  one or more additional body openings positioned at the body bottom end portion and adapted to channel air: 
                to a bottom of a fire to fuel primary combustion; and 
                    up between the interior body wall and the exterior body wall, and through the one or more inwardly-facing body openings, to fuel secondary combustion; 
                  wherein the fire pit stand defines a height; 
                wherein the stand wall having the one or more stand openings defines a first outside diameter; and 
                wherein the height defined by the fire pit stand is less than a third of the first outside diameter defined by the stand wall having the one or more stand openings.
