1. A valve system comprising:
at least one spin chamber having an outlet drain configured to allow flow out of the spin chamber, wherein a main spin surface of the at least one spin chamber is defined around the outlet drain;
a directional jet system in fluid communication with the at least one spin chamber, wherein the directional jet system includes a plurality of members each configured to move between:
a first position for directing a tangential flow around the outlet drain of the at least one spin chamber; and
a second position for directing a radial flow toward the outlet drain of the at least one spin chamber; and
a single actuator operatively connected to actuate each of the members in the plurality of members together, wherein:
the actuator includes a rotary prime mover engaged to rotate a sun gear; and
each member in the plurality of members is engaged to a respective planet gear that meshes with the sun gear for rotation of all of the members of the plurality of members between the first and second positions by action of the rotary prime mover.
