1. A method for carrying out a chemical process, a pharmaceutical process, or a biological process within a reactor vessel, the reactor vessel comprising at least one heat transfer baffle comprising at least one relief channel; and, at least one distribution channel formed between a first material and a support material; wherein:
the distribution channel comprises heat transfer fluid therein; and,
the heat transfer baffle is attached to the reactor vessel at a substantially seamless attachment point.
