1. A system for managing a group of vehicles during vehicle delivery operations, the system comprising:
a server running an internet service for managing drivers, the internet service configured to:
receive a request to drive a vehicle of the group of vehicles on a trip from a first location to deliver the vehicle to a second location;
receive a response from a driver accepting the request to drive the vehicle from the first location to deliver the vehicle to the second location;
associated a number with licensing information of the vehicle, the driver, and trip-specific insurance;
transmit the number;
receive real-time location updates indicative of a location of the vehicle during the trip; and
cause display of the real-time location updates of the vehicle;
wherein the internet service is further configured to communicate with a mobile application on a mobile device, the mobile application configured to:
cause display of the request to drive the vehicle;
receive, from the driver, the response indicating acceptance of the request to drive the vehicle from the first location to the second location;
receive the number from the internet service;
transmit the number;
obtain the real-time location updates of the mobile device indicative of the location of the vehicle from a sensor of the mobile device; and
transmit the real-time location updates to the server; and
a digital license plate configured to communicate with the mobile device running the mobile application, the digital license plate configured to:
receive the number from the mobile device; and
display the number by a display of the digital license plate.
