1. A solid-state battery comprising:
a first metal electrode;
a first mixed conductor disposed on the first metal electrode, wherein the first mixed conductor comprises a mixture of ionic and electronic conductors;
a pure ionic conductor disposed on the first mixed conductor; and
a second metal electrode disposed on top of the pure ionic conductor.
 
9. A solid-state battery comprising:
a first metal electrode;
a first mixed conductor disposed on the first metal electrode, wherein the first mixed conductor comprises a mixture of ionic and electronic conductors;
a pure ionic conductor disposed on the first mixed conductor;
a second mixed conductor disposed on the pure ionic conductor, wherein the second mixed conductor comprises the mixture of ionic and electronic conductors; and
a second metal electrode disposed on top of the second mixed conductor.
 
14. A solid-state battery comprising:
a first metal electrode;
a first mixed conductor disposed on the first metal electrode, wherein the first mixed conductor comprises a mix-conductor;
a pure ionic conductor disposed on the first mixed conductor;
a second mixed conductor disposed on the pure ionic conductor; and
a second metal electrode disposed on top of the second mixed conductor.
