1. A method comprising:
generating, by a first device, an interactive graphical marker comprising a first region with a first indicator and a second region with a second indicator, the second region being around a circumference of the first region;
causing, by the first device, an animation of the interactive graphical marker to be displayed on a display interface of the first device, the animation comprising the first region rotating in a first direction around a rotational axis of the interactive graphical marker;
receiving, by the first device, a game synchronization request from a plurality of second devices;
in response to receiving the game synchronization request, monitoring, by the first device, the animation of the interactive graphical marker to detect an alignment of the first indicator and the second indicator; and
in response to detecting the alignment, transmitting, by the first device, a signal to initiate an interactive game application on the plurality of second devices.
