1. A computer-implemented method for improving crop yield in grower fields, the method comprising:
accessing data representative of predicted performance of seeds for a grower field;
creating, by a server, an experiment for the grower field based on the predicted performance of the seeds, the experiment including a specific prescription to plant the seeds in the grower field, the specific prescription defining a type of the seeds to be planted in the grower field, destinations of the seeds within the grower field, and a volume of the seeds to be planted in the grower field;
transmitting, by the server, the prescription of the experiment to a planter;
collecting, in real time, planting data for the seeds as the seeds are planted in the grower field, the planting data including a volume of the seeds planted in the grower field;
validating, by the server, that execution of the experiment in the grower field is consistent with the prescription of the experiment based on a comparison of the collected planting data indicating the volume of the seeds planted in the grower field, during a defined interval, to the volume of the seeds to be planted in the specific prescription of the experiment; and
generating a recommendation based on a comparison of harvesting data for a crop grown from the seeds planted in the grower field to the predicted performance of the seeds included in the prescription of the experiment, wherein the recommendation is applicable to at least the grower field.
