1. A method for wireless communication at a network device, comprising:
receiving one or more transport blocks via an autonomous uplink communication, each of the one or more transport blocks comprising a plurality of code block groups (CBGs);
transmitting first feedback information, the first feedback information comprising transport block-level feedback for at least one of the one or more transport blocks;
transmitting an uplink transmission grant comprising an indication of at least one of the one or more transport blocks to be retransmitted based at least in part on the first feedback information;
selecting a CBG-level retransmission mode from at least two candidate CBG-level retransmission modes based at least in part on the indication; and
transmitting second feedback information based at least in part on the selected CBG-level retransmission mode, the second feedback information comprising CBG-level feedback for at least one of the one or more transport blocks.
