1. A method for protecting displayed patient information, the method comprising:
receiving, at a computing terminal, patient information corresponding to a patient and for display on a display of the computing terminal;
generating two versions of a user interface for display on the display, wherein one of the two versions corresponds to a private display user interface and wherein the other of the two versions corresponds to a public display user interface;
the private display user interface presenting the patient information with no change to the patient information due to regulatory restrictions;
the public display user interface presenting the patient information with changes to the patient information due to regulatory restrictions and removing identifying information and patient treatment information specific to the patient, wherein generating the public display user interface comprises comparing the patient information with the regulatory restrictions, identifying, based on the comparing, information within the patient information that is not for public display as identified within the regulatory restrictions, and obfuscating the information within the patient information;
identifying a display status of the display the patient information is to be displayed upon of the computing terminal, wherein the display status is selected from the group consisting of a private display status and a public display status, wherein the display status is identified based at least in part on a location of the display within a medical facility; and
displaying, based upon the display status of the display, the user interface corresponding to the display status, wherein the private display user interface corresponds to the private display status and wherein the public display user interface corresponds to the public display status.
