1. A non-grain-oriented electrical steel strip or sheet containing, apart from iron and unavoidable impurities, (figures in each case in % by weight)
up to 0.0040 of C,
from 0.0700 to 0.3000 of Mn,
from more than 2.700 to 3.250 of Si,
from 0.5500 to 0.8500 of Al,
up to 0.0400 of P,
up to 0.0035 of S,
up to 0.0070 of N and
up to 0.0070 of Ti,
wherein a ratio of magnetic loss P1.0/50 in a finally heat treated state to magnetic loss P1.0/50 in a reference heat treated state is at least 1.10, wherein the reference heat treated state is a distinct heat treated state attained subsequent to the finally heat treated state and wherein the reference heat treated state is achieved at a temperature between 750° C. to 850° C. with a hold time of at least 20 minutes.
