1. A communications device for use in a wireless communications network, the wireless communications network comprising an infrastructure equipment providing a wireless access interface, the communications device comprising:
circuitry configured to:
receive an indication of a plurality of configured grants, each of the configured grants allocating a sequence of communications resources for the transmission of the data in the cell by the communications device, wherein each configured grant has an associated periodicity for repeated allocation of the communications resources,
receive an indication of a mapping between individual logical channels and one or more of the plurality of configured grants, wherein the mapping indicates which specific logical channels can use which specific configured grants, and
transmit a first portion of the data associated with a first logical channel of the plurality of logical channels using communications resources allocated by one of the plurality of configured grants having a periodicity corresponding to characteristics of the first logical channel, in accordance with the mapping,
wherein the mapping is provided within a cell configuration portion of an RRC reconfiguration message, the cell configuration portion including a plurality of configured grant descriptors each having a unique configured grant identifier.
