1. Computerized cloud storage apparatus for use in a content distribution network, the computerized cloud storage apparatus comprising: non-transitory storage apparatus having at least one storage medium configured to store data;
a data interface in data communication with the non-transitory storage apparatus and configured for data communication with at least one computerized storage management process of a managed content delivery network; and
computerized logic configured to, based at least on one or more data communications with the at least one computerized storage management process, cause:
receipt, via at least the data interface, of first content data designated by a first user, second content data designated by a second user, and third content data designated by at least the first user and the second user;
creation of at least a first dedicated storage location comprising the first content data;
creation of at least a second dedicated storage location comprising the second content data;
creation of at least a first commonly accessible storage location comprising the third content data, the creation of the first commonly accessible storage location comprising creation of a data storage device disposed topologically at an edge portion of a managed content distribution network and more proximate to each of the first and second users than the first and second dedicated storage locations;
implementation of a first virtual control boundary associated with the first user, the first virtual control boundary including the first dedicated storage location and the first commonly accessible storage location; and
implementation of a second virtual control boundary associated with the second user, the second virtual control boundary including the second dedicated storage location and the first commonly accessible storage location;
wherein the implementations of the first and second virtual control boundaries enable distributing a load of delivering the first and second content data out to the edge portion of the managed content distribution network.
