1. A communicating method, the method comprising:
determining, at a station, a bandwidth of a transmission channel to transmit a data unit;
determining, at the station, a first number of bits based on the bandwidth, wherein the first number of bits comprises a first set of bits related to a length of the data unit;
generating, at the station, a frame comprising a first signal field, a second signal field, a third signal field and a data field in that order; and
transmitting, at the station, at least a part of the frame through the transmission channel;
wherein the data field comprises the data unit, and
the third signal field comprises the first set of bits.
