1. A method for identifying a fault on an alternating current side of a photovoltaic system, comprising:
recording a waveform of a preset parameter of the photovoltaic system by a controller of the photovoltaic system, wherein the preset parameter comprises an alternating current parameter of an inverter in the photovoltaic system;
transmitting the recorded waveform to an external device by the controller; and
at least one of:
displaying the waveform, by the external device; or
obtaining, by the external device, a temporal-domain parameter or a frequency domain parameter of the waveform through analysis.
