1. A method for controlling a power supply, comprising:
generating a current error signal representing a difference between (a) a magnitude of an output current of the power supply and (b) a magnitude of a reference current value;
providing the current error signal for injection into a voltage feedback node of the power supply; and
disabling flow of the current error signal to the voltage feedback node in response to the magnitude of the output current exceeding the magnitude of the reference current value.
