1. An electric toothbrush and charging dock system, the system comprising an electric toothbrush and a charging dock, wherein:
the electric toothbrush comprises:
at least one magnetic member in a central portion thereof; and
at least one charging coil; and
the charging dock comprises:
at least one transmitting coil;
a proximal portion comprising at least one magnetic member; and
a distal portion comprising a power plug configured to receive energy from a power source,
wherein the proximal portion is rotatably attached to the distal portion, and
wherein the proximal portion is configured to rotate in a plane, the plane parallel to the at least one charging coil with the electric toothbrush attached to the charging dock.
