1. A seal comprising:
an elastically deformable tubular body having a sealing portion structurally configured to cooperatively engage an interface port;
wherein the sealing portion comprises a forward portion and a rearward portion;
wherein the forward portion is structurally configured to connect to the rearward portion by an inner annular groove portion;
wherein the forward portion and the rearward portion are structurally configured to be separated by the inner annular groove portion;
wherein the forward portion and the rearward portion are structurally configured to be separated by an outer annular groove portion;
wherein the forward portion comprises a first sealing edge that is structurally configured to cooperate with an outer surface of the interface port; and
wherein the rearward portion comprises a second sealing edge that is structurally configured to cooperate with the outer surface of the interface port to provide a sealed connection between the connector and the interface port when the forward portion of the seal is removed from the seal at the inner annular groove portion, and the inner annular groove portion is configured to keep the inner annular groove portion away from the second sealing edge of the rearward portion of the sealing portion when the forward portion is removed from the seal so as to avoid a poor seal between the second sealing edge and the interface port.
